This Privacy Policy describes how KovaHub (kovahub.org) collects, uses, and stores information about you when you use our website and services. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use KovaHub:

• Discord account data: Your Discord user ID, username, and avatar image, obtained when you log in via Discord OAuth. We do not access your email, messages, or server memberships.
• Roblox account data: Your Roblox user ID, username, and profile avatar, obtained when you connect your Roblox account via Roblox OAuth. We only request the openid and profile scopes.
• Usage data: Basic server-side logs including page requests, for the purpose of diagnosing errors and maintaining the service. These are not used for tracking or advertising.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Identify you when you log in and display your account information in the dashboard.
• Check your product ownership status via the Parcel API using your Discord or Roblox ID.
• Process license transfers on your behalf when you initiate them.
• Associate your Discord and Roblox accounts in our database so you can manage your products in one place.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except as described below.

3. Third-Party Services

KovaHub integrates with the following third-party services:

• Discord: Used for authentication. Governed by Discord's Privacy Policy.
• Roblox: Used for account linking and license verification. Governed by Roblox's Privacy Policy.
• Parcel: Used for product license management and whitelist verification. Your Discord and Roblox IDs are sent to Parcel's API when checking or transferring your licenses.
• MongoDB Atlas: Our database provider. Data is stored in the EU (or nearest available region) and protected under MongoDB's data processing agreements.
• Vercel: Our hosting provider. Requests to KovaHub pass through Vercel's infrastructure.

4. Data Retention

Your customer record (Discord ID, Discord username, and linked Roblox data) is retained for as long as you have an account. If you disconnect your Roblox account, the associated Roblox data is cleared from our database immediately. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us on Discord.

5. Cookies and Sessions

KovaHub uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in via NextAuth. This cookie contains an encrypted session token and does not store personally identifiable information directly. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

6. Children's Privacy

KovaHub is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our Discord server. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical precautions to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure database access controls. However, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will announce material changes in our Discord server. Continued use of KovaHub after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
