New and junior staff, and anyone starting out in an area.
Lessons and a timed final exam.
Short, practical courses from the Kova team. Finish a course, pass its exam and earn a signed certificate that anyone can check is real.
Short lessons written by the people who do the job, with screenshots, examples and the odd video. Go at your own pace.
Questions after lessons check you’ve understood, and explain the answer either way. They never count against you.
Finishing every lesson unlocks a timed exam. Questions are picked at random for each person and marked by Kova’s servers.
Professional and Expert certifications add a practical: real work or a short call, marked by an assessor.
Your certificate is signed by Kova and names your Roblox account. Anyone can check it’s real at kovahub.org.

Your first step into PR for Roblox and Discord creator brands, game studios and communities: what PR is, clear and accessible writing, engagement and events, the ground rules for giveaways, ads and partnerships, and staying accurate and safe.
Your first step into support for Roblox communities and creator stores: how tickets work, the Roblox basics behind most problems, store policies, talking to members, staying safe, and knowing when to ask for help.
Every Kova staff member works towards the certification their role needs, from Foundation for junior staff to Expert for department leads. So when you talk to someone from Kova, you know they’ve been trained and tested on how we do things.
Ask applicants for their credential ID and check it at kovahub.org/certificates. Developers can check certificates automatically with a public API, and every record is signed so it can’t be faked.

No. Kova Academy courses and certificates are free.
Some courses are open to everyone: sign in with Discord and start. Others are for Kova staff, or for people Kova has invited.
Every exam is drawn at random from a bigger bank of questions and the answers are shuffled, so no two people sit the same paper. The answers never reach your browser, marking happens on Kova’s servers, there’s a time limit and a wait before a retake.
For Professional and Expert certifications, passing the exam isn’t enough. You also hand in real work, like replies to example tickets, or have a short call with an assessor. A person marks it against a written guide, and the certificate is only issued if it passes.
Each certification sets its own length, and some don’t expire at all, so check each one individually. You’ll find it on the course page and in the certification standard. If yours does expire, you can renew it in the last 60 days. Expired and revoked certificates show as such on their verify page straight away.
Enter the credential ID at kovahub.org/certificates, or scan the QR code on the certificate. A PDF or screenshot on its own proves nothing; the verify page is what counts.
No. A Kova certificate shows the holder was assessed by Kova against a published standard. It isn’t a government or academic qualification, and we don’t pretend it is.
